Serenity. It means so many things to so many of us. What does it mean? Have you wondered why you work a good program but don’t feel serene in your day to day life? Do you feel confused by “serenity” and what it has to do with compulsive overeating? Maybe you just want to build your serenity, build a path of “reasonable happiness” in the OA Program.
The Workshop will include:
- A dynamic main speaker who addresses what planning for serenity means and how doing it supports recovery every day.
- Confidential, friendly breakout groups that explore recovery essentials and how to implement them in your daily life.
- Some time for us to explore the peace and well-being we hear about in the Promises and Serenity Prayer.
- And after our program (hint: on the theme of Serenity), participants can receive a surprise gift, in thanks for sharing your experience, strength, and hope!
EVERYONE who wants to stop eating compulsively is welcome. Newcomers are welcome, and can connect with others during and after the workshop.
Download this information as a flyer to share.
There is no fee to join us. For those who can, we suggest making a US$5.00 Seventh Tradition donation. Venmo will be provided on the day of the workshop.
