64th Annual World Service Business Conference
To Carry the Message Is Our Primary Purpose
May 4–10, 2025

Welcome to all delegates, members of the Board of Trustees, World Service Office staff, and volunteers planning to attend the 64th Annual World Service Business Conference (WSBC) of Overeaters Anonymous.

Another amazing Conference will arrive in May. It will be different from the past two years when we met in-person. The 2025 WSBC will be virtual only, but with the same purpose: giving service with the principle of unity in our hearts for the good of OA as a whole.

This year the schedule will allow those attending the ability to meet within reasonable timeframes. There will be OA recovery meetings, a Literature Questions and Answers session, and the “All About Conference” workshop. There will also be some changes to the agenda. The Meet the Maker session is scheduled for February 1, 2025, to allow all service bodies to prepare their Agenda Questionnaire responses before the due date. But don’t worry, a second Meet the Maker session will be scheduled in April for all registered delegates and the recording will be placed on the delegate secure web page. There will be the highly anticipated Forum by the region chairs, and two exciting workshops. Read the agenda carefully; the titles are very insightful.

This year’s theme will be To Carry the Message is our Primary Purpose. We have come to realize there is no greater benefit than giving back what has been given to us through our recovery, and so carrying the message to the compulsive eater who still suffers is a sign of immense gratitude to the Fellowship that guides us to recovery, one day at a time.
