This set of e-documents includes proposed New Business Motions and proposed Bylaw Amendments for consideration at the 2026 World Service Business Conference (WSBC). Each intergroup and service board is asked to review each proposed New Business Motion and proposed Bylaw Amendment, and to vote to determine if it should be included on the agenda at the 2026 WSBC. An Agenda Questionnaire is available for your intergroup’s or service board’s vote on each item at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AQ2026. Space is also provided for your comments. The deadline for Questionnaire responses is February 19, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
A summary of these motions is also available. This document is a reference piece for your service body meeting and should NOT be returned to the World Service Office (WSO). Please send Questionnaire responses via the online survey.
Please carefully consider each proposed New Business Motion and Bylaw Amendment to decide if the delegates should discuss and vote on it at WSBC 2026. Does its debate benefit OA currently? Your “yes” or “no” vote is NOT a vote to approve or disapprove the content of the New Business Motion or Bylaw Amendment. Those agenda items discussed and voted on by the 2026 Conference delegates will affect OA as a whole for years to come; therefore, they should be important to the Fellowship as a whole.
Only those New Business Motions and Bylaw Amendments receiving a “yes” vote from at least 50 percent of the responding intergroups and service boards will be considered at WSBC 2026. Your intergroup or service board is urged to vote on the items listed on the Agenda Questionnaire whether or not you are represented by a delegate at Conference 2026.
The chair or secretary of your intergroup or service board must include their name on the online Agenda Questionnaire. This will confirm a signature from the service body. The online Questionnaire must be completed by February 19, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. This is a firm deadline established by OA’s Bylaws. Only registered intergroups and service boards may vote and complete the Agenda Questionnaire.
