You do NOT have to register to ATTEND any OA meeting.
Overeaters Anonymous has approximately 6,500 meetings in over 80 countries. Use the search buttons to find a face-to-face, telephone, online, or non-real-time meeting (meetings that do not meet in real time, such as loops, social media, and mobile apps).
To be registered with the WSO, OA meetings must fulfill the definition of an OA group, which means they meet to practice the Twelve Steps and Traditions of OA, welcome all who have the desire to stop eating compulsively, do not require members to practice any actions to remain a member or to share at a meeting, and as a group they have no affiliation other than OA.
Alternative Methods to Finding an OA Meeting Near You — If you aren’t able to find a meeting in your city, please consider attending an online, telephone, or non-real-time meeting or select the service body tab. Service bodies are central OA offices located in most urban areas. These offices are usually staffed by volunteer OA members who will be happy to answer your questions and assist you in finding a meeting in your area.
Meetings may list additional information, such as “open” or “closed” or may list a special focus or topic. Click here for definitions of these terms.
Open Meeting: Open to OA members and non-OA visitors. All meetings are considered open unless otherwise indicated.
Closed Meeting: Open to anyone with a desire to stop eating compulsively or anyone who thinks they may have a problem with compulsive overeating.
NOTE: Not all meetings have a Special Focus or Special Topic.
Special Focus Meetings (gay and lesbian, women’s, 100-pounders, maintainers, anorexic/bulimic, etc.) are composed of individuals who feel they can more readily identify with fellow OAers with similar attributes.
Special Topic Meetings (Big Book Study, Lifeline, Speaker, Newcomer, etc.) have a defined topic of discussion.
According to the Traditions, bylaws and policies of OA, the only requirement for OA membership is the desire to stop eating compulsively. We ask each person attending to respect the meeting’s group conscience. All registered meetings welcome and give a voice to any person who has the desire to stop eating compulsively.

Important Information on Telephone Meetings
OA, Inc. maintains a listing of registered telephone meetings as a courtesy to its members. OA, Inc. does not own, endorse, manage or otherwise sponsor these meetings. Each meeting is autonomous. Some meetings choose to record all or part of a meeting for available playback at a future time. By accessing and using information on this list, you agree that you have been notified that a telephone meeting may be recorded. You have the option of listening without speaking; and/or if participating vocally, you have the option of using your own name, a fictitious name or none at all.
Calls into telephone meetings are NOT toll-free. Regular long-distance charges will apply based on the long-distance plan callers have with their telephone service provider.
