Contributions Needed: Professional Exhibits Fund

OA members: Consider making a designated contribution to the Professional Exhibits Fund. Go to oa.org/contribute, and select “Professional Exhibits Fund” from the drop-down designation menu.

Our own Professional Exhibits Fund has been subject to the lingering supply and demand effects of the pandemic. When the pandemic started, professional conferences came to a halt. The Executive Committee of the OA board responded by voting to temporarily stop accepting contributions to this fund to ensure that contributions were being put toward active initiatives. Today, we are back to accepting contributions and providing funds to OA service bodies who have applied. Here are service bodies that have already been funded in 2024:

More service bodies will receive Professional Exhibits Fund payments through the end of 2024, and we expect more applications in the year ahead, so we need new contributions to sustain our fund through the end of 2025. Any OA member may contributed up to US$7,500 per year to this fund.
