Honesty is the Spiritual Principle of Step One.  You will hear 4 speakers with long-term abstinence discuss honesty in the OA program. After all, if we aren’t honest, how will we ever get well? We need to be honest with our meetings, our sponsors, and ourselves in order to get and stay abstinent.  If we are lying, we are hurting ourselves and cutting off our Higher Power. Honesty really is the best policy!
