Majority of Document Library Now Available in 48 Languages

More than 170 OA documents, including all suggested meeting formats, checklists, guidelines, inventories, and Twelfth Step Within resources are now freely available in 48 languages. We are a global Fellowship, and today, non-English-speaking OA members from all over the world can make immediate use of our Document Library to carry the message and strengthen recovery in their languages. From oa.org/document-library, go to the “Format” menu and select “ONLINE” to see the available documents.

English-language users also benefit: the very same online documents are also mobile-friendly. Pull up Welcome Home on your smartphone and volunteer to read it aloud at your meeting.

The World Service Office has been working since January 2025 to convert PDF documents to the online format so they can be translated by our website’s artificial-intelligence (A.I.) translation software. These automatic translations benefit not only our existing groups and service bodies but also those yet to come. So when someone works to establish a new OA meeting in Turkish (currently there are none), those members will have the Suggested Meeting Format and other supporting documents available to them right away. We are truly carrying the message worldwide!

Help Improve OA.org Translations
