Is an atheist, agnostic, or secular perspective part of your OA recovery? Now is your opportunity to help OA create a new daily reader, much like For Today and Voices of Recovery, Second Edition! To participate, select a quote from OA-approved literature and provide the detail and reflection requested below and in our flyer. Send in your entry by January 15, 2026.
Here are the elements we’d like to see:
- A quote from OA-approved literature
- Your thoughts on the quoted passage: how does it strengthen your recovery?
- A related thought or action for the day.
Limit your submission to 800 words total and do not include references to God, Higher Power, Supreme Being, or a deity of any type.
The purpose of the secular daily reader is to help OA members establish and maintain recovery, regardless of their beliefs or nonbeliefs. Together we can create a piece of OA literature to support members and newcomers like you!
